Big Apple
Big Apple – I need to take this opportunity to set the record strait – I told someone that today’s drink was a Big Apple and their immediate response was “You can’t drink that!” Their assumption being that since I’m from Boston I can’t show any love for the Big Apple… the fact is, like the slogan says, I love New York! It’s a great city and I’ve had a lot of good times there… BUT before an angry mob of drunken Sox fans toss my ass off the backside of the Green Monster onto Lansdowne Street let me clarify… liking New York City has absolutely nothing to do with any New York sports team! Two completely different animals! I currently enjoy living in Los Angeles but it’s the same deal… you won’t catch me trading in my Green jersey for one of those pretentious yellow and purple eye-sores!

- splash ‘o green crème de menthe
