It’s a pretty basic drink but what makes this great is that when you’re in Vegas they make it in a gallon size jug that you can take with you as you walk the strip…

Like I mentioned yesterday… a few days of some DIY (DO It Yourself ) Make-up drinks.. but as long as it’s something different it qualifies for my resolution of a different adult beverage every day this year (can’t wait to get my full bar out of storage!)

Ok, so I’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately… technically homeless since I moved out of my apartment a month ago, put everything in storage and have been on the road ever since – so some of my drinks in the last few weeks are more of a DIY concoction (and will probably be a few more made-up drinks over the next few weeks until I find a place to live)… and here’s another one…
Strawberry Banana Rum Smoothie
Drink Tip: I recommend making this with fresh fruit in a blender (maybe add some vanilla ice cream) but sometimes when you’re on the road you just gotta do what you can with convenience store ingredients and cheap hotel room plastic cups…

Back on the West Coast so when in Rome…. down at some pizza joint in San Clemente today so I went with one of the local brews on tap (photo of the bottle is for entertainment purposes only)
