• 1/2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
• 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur

• 1 oz banana liqueur
• 1 oz peach schnapps
• fill with orange juice

Horny Mohican

Horny Mohican drink recipe:

• 1 part banana liqueur
• 1 part Bailey’s Irish Cream
• 1 part rum

Double Trouble

Remember that TV show from the 80’s Double Trouble?  Yeah, that has absolutely nothing to do with this drink, just showing my age…

Double Trouble drink recipe: “You’ll be feelin’ single and seein’ double after a couple of these!” ~ Menu Description … I don’t have the exact recipe, just going off what was on the menu:

• Start with their Pina Colada recipe and then add…
• Banana Liqueur
• Dark Rum
• 151 Rum (that’s the double trouble part)

Drink Tip: Mix up one of these and then do a YouTube search for Double Trouble.. c’mon you remember… the twin sisters…

The Doubloon

The Doubloon – Arrrr matey, today’s drink be The Doubloon… another name for this drink is a June Bug, lame I know so that’s why I went with The Doubloon.  One sounds like something your grandma would drink while cooling herself on the front porch swing while the other sounds like something you’d swill while looting and plundering villages (we’re talking cool Johnny Depp pirates here not the Somali kind…)  This drink looks like yesterday’s drink of the day… must be the sour mix because everything else is different.  Another very tasty drink, especially if you like pineapple juice…

The Doubloon:

• 2 oz coconut rum
• 1 oz Midori (melon liqueur)
• 1 oz banana liqueur
• 3 oz pineapple juice
• 1oz sweet and sour mix
• cherry on top… if you’re into that sort of thing

Drink Tip: I highly recommend wearing an eye-patch and chasing neighborhood kids with a plastic sword while knocking these back…

Red Alert - Needs more kick, a drink with this name should at least be flammable IMO

Red Alert – Not a bad drink, sweet like candy if that’s the sort of thing you like (or maybe I added too much sweet & sour mix?) but other than the drink being red in color the name doesn’t fit with what I’d consider something worthy of the “red alert” title… such an alarming name should be stronger, be flammable…

Create your own Red Alert

• 1½ oz tequila
• 1 oz banana liqueur
• 1 oz sloe gin
• sour mix… as much or little as you like

Drink Tip: Make it a double and go easy on the mix to make it less sweet.

Snowflake

Snowflake – More like a blizzard than a single snowflake… the recipe called for Pear Liqueur but since I didn’t have any (and didn’t feel like going to the store) I decided to get creative but couldn’t decide on just one flavor so I mixed myself up four different flavored drinks… same recipe just a different flavored Schnapps in each.

Snowflake

• 1½ oz pear liqueur
  • Peach Schnapps
  • Banana Schnapps
  • Butterscotch Schnapps
  • Root Beer Schnapps
• 3 oz milk
• crushed ice
• 2-3 oz 7-Up

Drink Tip: Throw the booze, milk, and ice into a blender then top off with the 7-Up (or Sprite)

Bob Cocktail

Bob Cocktail – Found this drink called a Bob Cocktail although to do justice to the person I’m commemorating today I’ll probably have to chase this drink with a least a 6-pack of beer (or a case) to do it up right.  A good friend, Bob Young, left this world way too soon along with 99 other people on this day back in 2003 in The Station nightclub fire.  Bob, this one’s for you… we had some great times, think of you often, and you’ll always be missed…

Bob Cocktail:

• 1 oz cherry brandy
• 1 oz amaretto
• 1 oz banana liqueur
• 3/4 oz orange juice

Drink Tip: Best to drink while listening to some Tupac…

Winter Break

Winter Break – “Whooah, we’re halfway there…”  Today is the officail hafway point for winter… but I don’t see what the big deal is?  The weather today here in Southern California was no different than it was back in July… warm and sunny… (just had to throw that out there for all my friends and family back in Boston experiencing the worst winter they’ve ever had!)

How to have a Winter Break:

• 1/3 oz Southern Comfort
• 1/3 oz peach Schnapps
• 1/3 oz banana liqueur

Drink Tip: If you hate the cold and snow of winter, mix yourself up one of these and then move your ass to someplace warm, jackass!
