Buttafuoco drink recipe:

• 2 oz tequila
• 1/2 oz Galliano herbal liqueur
• 1/2 oz cherry liqueur
• 1/2 oz lemon juice
• club soda
• maraschino cherry

Iceberg and Titanic

Iceberg & Titanic – Like Sonny and Cher or peas and carrots (or Jerry and a doughnut) you really can’t have a Titanic without an Iceberg.  So today as you mark the the 99th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic (as I’m sure everyone is doing… at least those of us looking for an excuse to drink)  raise a glass not only for the boat but also for the ‘berg that made it famous!  Hey, without the iceberg we would have missed out on the second highest grossing movie of all time, coming in at just under 2 billion buckaroos (yes, billion with a “B”)!  These two drinks work well together… play off each other nicely!

Drink Tip: To make things more interesting I recommend doing a Google search for Titanic drinking games…

Apollo 13

Apollo 13 – I’m guessing if you’re the kind of person who enjoys reading this blog then you’re probably the kind of person who didn’t pay much attention in school… but you probably watch a lot of movies so you should know abut the Apollo 13 mission and their “problem” that happened on this date back in 1970.  Hint: It didn’t actually have anything to do with drinking and driving a rocket ship….

Apollo 13:

• 2 oz rum
• 1/2 oz orange liqueur
• 1/2 oz herbal liqueur
• 2 oz cream
• splash o’ grenadine

Drink Tip: Be prepared, this drink tastes like it could fuel the rocket!
