Limoncello Lemona?de

Limoncello Lemonade – Wish I knew about this as a kid… would have been the most popular kid on the block if I sold this lemonade from my front yard stand 🙂

• 1 oz Limonchello
• 1 oz Vodka
• 5 oz Lemonade

Drink Tip: If a little bit of vodka (and Limochello, whatever that is…) can make lemonade better… why not try it with Kool-Aid? Just keep it out of reach of the kids… people are just so up-tight these days…

Margaritaville Spiked Lemonade

My lazy mixed drink of the day… something pre-made.  Wanna talk about capitalizing on the popularity of a single song… Buffet’s Margaritaville has been marketed for pre-made drinks, mixers, cafes, bars, restaurants, clothing, and is pretty much the flag-ship song for the entire Parrot Head movement… don’t get me wrong, I like his music but if we could all be so luck to turn a couple catchy lyrics into a money making empire!

Lemon Drop

Hittin’ the bottle of McGillicuddy’s today and mixing up a Lemon Drop… mine didn’t look nearly as good as the one in the picture but I’m sure it’s just as effective… You can make your Lemon Drop with the McGillicuddy’s like I did or you can…

Lemon Drop recipe:

• 1½ oz vodka
• 3/4 oz lemon juice
• 1 tsp sugar
• garnish with a lemon slice

Drink Tip: You can up the ante on this and make it a Might Lemon Drop by adding some triple sec…

Passionfruit Caprioska

Still in Tonga on the main island of Tongatapu so I headed over to a local bar in Nuku’alofa called Reload for my drink of the day. I love the bar’s non-committal slogan “probably the best bar in Tonga“… they think they’re pretty good but don’t want to overstate or mislead anybody so “we’re probably the best bar but maybe we’re not…”

Making this easy so I have a blended pre-made Passionfruit Caprioska, not bad, it is what it is… ya know, probably the best drink in the house… or not… just sayin’… Like yesterday’s drink this is also imported from New Zealand BUY HERE

• Passionfruit Juice
• Lemon Juice
• Lime Juice

Drink Tip: A pre-mix is fine in a pinch but it doesn’t hurt to add a little something extra of your own…
