Paul Revere

Paul Revere drink recipe

Paul Revere

Paul Revere – “The British are coming, the British are coming… and they didn’t bring any beer…

Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight beer-run of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, at Eleven Fifty-Five;
The store was closed when he arrived,
So we settled for a cocktail and posted the recipe here:

  • 1½ oz bourbon
  • ½ oz vermouth
  • splash of grenadine
  • few drops of lemon juice

Drink Tip: Mix and pour over cobblestones (cobblestones=rocks=ice).  I bet Paul Revere was a real party animal… just take a look at this pic and tell me he doesn’t look just like Jack Black >

Iceberg & Titanic Cocktails

Iceberg and Titanic mixed drink cocktail recipe

Iceberg and Titanic

Iceberg & Titanic – Like Sonny and Cher or peas and carrots (or Jerry and a doughnut) you really can’t have a Titanic without an Iceberg.  So today as you mark the the 99th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic (as I’m sure everyone is doing… at least those of us looking for an excuse to drink)  raise a glass not only for the boat but also for the ‘berg that made it famous!  Hey, without the iceberg we would have missed out on the second highest grossing movie of all time, coming in at just under 2 billion buckaroos (yes, billion with a “B”)!  These two drinks work well together… play off each other nicely!

Iceberg Cocktail Titanic Cocktail
  • 1 oz white crème de menthe (oops, I used green, same thing just different color)
  • 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1/2 oz Goldschläger
  • milk
(mix ingredients with ice in a blender)
  • 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1/2 oz Galliano
  • 1/3 oz dry vermouth
  • 1½ oz vodka
(chill in a shaker with ice and strain)

Drink Tip: To make things more interesting I recommend doing a Google search for Titanic drinking games…

Artillery Cocktail

Artillery Cocktail

Artillery Cocktail – There are shots and then there is Artillery.  Bam!  Gin and vermouth… just noticed noticed the recipe called for ‘sweet’ vermouth, I used dry… wonder if that would have made a difference…?

Artillery Cocktail:

  • 1½ tsp sweet vermouth
  • 1½ oz oz gin
  • 2 dashes bitters

Drink Tip: Start dropping the artillery and don’t stop until everyone has been wasted!
